Students in Training is a program for learners of any age with technology interest. We provide opportunities for hands-on inspired creativity and learning in a safe environment. Our staff are IT professionals and volunteers that enjoy teaching curious minds.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) charity EIN 13-4269537

Students in Training wants to make technology simple for everybody by providing structured opportunities and challenges that foster creativity and critical thinking. We resonate positive values for learners by providing ongoing mentorship.

Provide low cost technology services and computers to benefit the community.
Positively impact the lives of our local learners.
Provide environmentally sound solutions for technological waste.

Technical Skill Building

Industry professionals teach Students about topics including:
Website and Graphic design
Coding (HTML, SQL and more!)
Cultivate programming skills through various projects
Learn Microsoft Office suite and other software
General Computer Repair & Upgrades
Disassembly and Building of custom computers
Server Administration
Internet Safety
Wired and Wireless Networking
& Much More!

Life/Soft Skill Building

Leadership building through opportunities to build and lead teams.
Our environment fosters teaching and growth opportunities for innovation and knowledge sharing.
Customer service skills will be gained through providing computer repair and interacting with the public while donating equipment.
Students will gain confidence with public speaking when presenting programs to city leaders and other organizations.

E-Waste Recycling and 
Refurbished Computers

Electronic waste contains harmful chemicals that should not go into the landfill.
Obsolete equipment is disassembled by students and sorted into bins. Useable components are refurbished and reused.
Sorted components are easier to recycle through various vendors who further break down components into valuable metals​.
Refurbished computers are donated or sold at low cost to those in need that wouldn't have access to technology otherwise​Valuable computers are sold at affordable prices to help support the organization.
